The Division of Pulmonary, Critical Care and Sleep Medicine has organized the Third Annual UC Pulmonary Medicine for Primary Care Practitioners on Saturday, May 10th, 2008 at the Great Wolf Lodge in Mason, Ohio from 7:30 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. Topics covered by University of Cincinnati faculty will include updates on COPD, asthma, interstitial lung disease, pulmonary hypertension, allergic rhinitis and sinus disease, new TB skin testing, treatment of common respiratory infections, interventional procedures for lung cancer, and sleep apnea. These topics have been chosen with the busy primary care practitioner in mind. The University of Cincinnati College Of Medicine designates this educational activity for a maximum of 5 AMA PRA Category 1 Credits. Pulmonary Lecture Series

Attended by all pulmonary fellows and some faculty. Talks given by attendings, both pulmonary and other departments, and fellows. Mandatory education for fellows.

ILD Clinico-radiologic-pathologic Consensus Conference:
First Thursday of every month from 11 a.m. to 12 p.m. in the CVC 1919

The objective of this conference is to discuss several interstitial lung disease cases and difficult management issues in a multi-disciplinary setting and to arrive at a final consensus diagnosis.

Friday from 11 a.m. - 12 p.m. in the CVC 1919.
